We were tasked with creating new packaging for Itaberco’s Hot Cocoa, highlighting its premium blend.
The packaging design draws inspiration from the rich history and symbolism of cacao in ancient Aztec culture. The golden accents used for the icons and symbols evoke the preciousness of cacao, which was revered as a divine gift and often referred to as “food of the gods.” The intricate details and patterns are reminiscent of the stone carvings and artistic expressions of the Aztec era, honoring their deep connection to the cacao bean. This golden touch not only highlights the premium nature of the product but also tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and timeless value.
